Hooray: I do not have a torn rotator cuff! What I have is a seriously inflamed shoulder. The surgeon injected it today, and prescribed PT which I'll start early next week. I'm going to try to go without driving for another 2 weeks, but it is really tough!

Meanwhile... does anyone know the calorie count of low-carb maki? -- these are the maki that are made without rice. The ones I get use the rice paper wrapper and are stuffed with carrots, lettuce, a little avocado and tiny pieces of salmon or tuna. I logged them as Vietnamese Spring Rolls, but I know that those are much higher carb than these low-carb maki because they have rice vermicelli in them. Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Hermmiones I hope you feel better soon. I went to a Myrtle Beach Pelican game this summer. They are the Advanced-A team of the Cubs and they won the championship for the second year in a row. Good luck to your team. I am hoping that Cleveland is the other team!

Congrats on the shoulder news. If I had to chose between another torn rotator cuff or another heart attack I have to think about it a lot longer than you would imagine lol.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement. I wish I could say that the cortisone injection had made some giant difference in my arm, but it doesn't seem to have had much impact. I actually managed to make an appointment for PT tomorrow, so we'll see what they say. And in case I didn't make it clear -- I truly did appreciate the prayers and positive thoughts. I really think it helped!
