Annabelle3117's Journal, 02 May 2016

Hey strangers, long time no see. It's been since April 10th.

I did great with my intake and small splurges for my birthday, it was the weeks that followed that got me. It's easy once you give yourself a little leash to strangle yourself with it... so to speak. With the stress of finals and upcoming preceptorship I went ahead and gave myself permission to let loose a little. Before I knew it I was eating just to eat, stress eating. It didn't take long to start affecting my self esteem.

Needless to say the weight came back up, little by little. Last Thursday was my last final exam, and so on Friday I recommitted myself to the process. I have done fantastic over the weekend, been to the gym Friday and today and am closer to the weight I have logged here on FS thank I was four days ago. I'm still closer to the 180s than I am to the 200s, for that I'm grateful.

I'm not recommitting alone though. My husband is giving lchf a whirl and so far he is getting really great results. I'll keep on with my modified lchf WOE. It's nice to have some support here at home. This is the first time in a long time and it's exciting to have some back up.

So finals are done, I aced both of them. Finished my lifespan 3 course with a 97%, not too terribly bad ;). I am half way through my preceptorship, which I'm so excited to finish this week. My preceptor has been great and the facility is wonderful so I have really enjoyed this experience. I've been juggling work/clinical/class for so long, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I graduate in June.

Hope all is well here with my buddies. I will catch up on your journals when I can.
