When I was on the path and was trying to get rid of the hunger, the only thing that really seemed to work was dumping starchy carbs. No bread. No sugar. No buns. No tortilla shells, no anything made with flour or ground anything. Whole veggies, preferably raw and then protein and fat. If you call it comfort food, it likely falls in the starchy category.

Make sure you're eating enough protein, it makes you feel full and satisfied. Just a suggestion, helps me.

Okay. I looked at your food journal. I think you're doing fine with the starches. The issue that I see is the lack of mass in the calories you're eating. 200 calories from mayo? 300 calories from pork rinds? Your fats are really high, but your protein is too low. I'd shoot for at least 120 gr protein. I'm seeing mostly between 50 gr of protein to about 115 gr.

Lol it was pork rinds.. I haven't had bread or potatoes or anything since December ... just hungry... maybe not enough fat... and ok I don't have many raw vegetables.. but i do eat them.... maybe it's stress ...

Eat greens and the green vegetables that you can handle and put some vinegar on them, it helps shrink the stomach. There is a really nice Mango Rice Vinegar that tastes amazing.

For some reason, hot sauce on a salad makes it seem more like a meal for me and therefore, more filling:^)

I would stop with all things white. This includes bread, sugar, potatoes, pasta and any other white carb. Also, high lean protein and little fat. Lots of vegetables. Fewer fruit. High fiber, high protein, and green vegetables.

You have gotten some nice suggestions but if you are still doing KETO, you still have to be aware of the protein percent because whatever protein is not used will be metabolized in the liver t glucose - which means carbs ibnthe big picture. High fat is what keeps the appetite down. The suggestions for "protein and little fat" does not work for KETO - NothernMusician says the opposite - but he is just one huge lean muscle LOL!

I visualize the gnawing stomach as being a crew of workers in there carving the blubber like we see in the old whaling videos. The point being that some discomfort is expected, and its better to face it rather than indulge it. Once faced, the feeling often will go away, as much of that is trickery that our body puts us through and not a matter of a real need to eat.

Protein I tell, ya. Protein... brodette. :D Didn't realize you were doing keto. Let me know when you're ready to turn legit carnivore. :)

eat when your hungry is my motto and one of the best parts of low carb.. If you go over a few meh.. so what, just make them healthy carbs and no carbage. Start with a heavy breakfast and be sure to have your two snacks..Pork rinds came to my rescue last night..your not alone..pre prep some chicken breast or ground beef or celery sticks..I know rabbit food but it will save you a$$ when your stuck between a rock and hard place. oh and my fav..cheese sticks and a half a avocado.. and lots of water in between.. I sometimes feel like I could float to bed LOL

out of all these comments the only one to follow if you are a keto person is HCB...northermusician is way off....I say more fat....less protein....and 20 carbs or less....but for you starting again maybe 50 carbs max for a few days....Start again in the morning with with bullet proof coffee....at lest 2 table spoons coconut oil and 1 table spoons butter...Stevia if you need sweet....wait 1 hour if you still hungry scramble 2 or 3 eggs with more butter 2 table spoons then put the extra butter from your pan on your eggs when done. eat it all...need to get back into keto again...you are not there... you should be able to go all the way to supper before eating again with out your hunger...fish, burger, pork chop . with small salad , 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes, half cup low carb slaw. snack time 1/2 oz pork skins is ok /w sour cream or 1 T peanut butter. Ratio is 75% fat...20% protein....5% carbs....thats the target to shot for...Get back into keto and kill that hunger....Carbs are your enemy.
