Anyone low carb looking for a cracker substitute? DH took the Mission Low crab wheat tortillas and toasted them on the flat top (skillet or griddle you use for pancakes) and made them into chips/crackers for my shrimp cocktail... great idea in my book , just dont go over board bc its easy to .. I just make 2 at time so I wont. great for soups too.. I know its prolly not 100% induction friendly but I feel ok with this choice and know that I still have 4 more days to burn em off. Im still with in my limit for net carbs too but I dont know how this would effect someone just starting out. Any work continues to suck and I only post it here bc bad days at work are a trigger for me BUT not today .. DH and I are headed to meat market to stock up then tonite ill hit the grocery store for the rest.. on target for the gym, so far so this week is headed in the right direction. Hope it sticks.. Cheers everyone..

I was looking at the miracle noodles on Amazon and saw flax crackers. I didn't check on the net carbs, but bet they are low. Thinking about getting some later on.

That sounds good - but not gluten free, right? I have been using paleo wraps but have not tried to toast them...hmmmm...maybe this weekend I will try it.with my avocado guacomole

Also, take a Low fat american cheese slice, cut it into 9 equal parts, place on a piece of parchment paper. Microwave for 1 minute. Turns them into crisp crackers. (Need to adjust times for some microwaves)

I also got Quest protein chips. 5 net carbs per snack bag and they are made out of whey so plenty of protein and the dont taste bad at all and plenty of flavor choices. their pricey but were on sale at my store so I stocked up and I only use when in dire straights to save me from straying or on movie with my boo.. Mission Low carb tortilla's are not gluten free // report back on the Paleo wraps HCB. Ive been wanting to get some and if they toast well even more of reason hahahahaha!

Anything is good if you put enough Tapatio on it.

When I get a hankering for pizza, I use those same Low Carb wraps as the pizza 'dough'. La Tortilla Factory makes a great low-carp wrap too. I don't use either that much anymore, but they're definitely a 'go-to' when a bread or crust is needed.
