I went over my net carbs yesterday but it was because I was hungry and it was all legal so not gonna whine. Ive learned the hard way to eat if Im hungry otherwise I risk straying. I also did not make it to the gym last night bc mom needed some help but Im also ok with this. Less negativity is my mantra for 2016 so I decided not to complain or feel resentment about helping my mom and missing gym but instead just did it and I felt good about it.. and myself.. I can make it up today and tomorrow and its just one day.On a side note, ever look at yourself in the mirror and think " looking good". Im not where I want to be but I can see my hard work is showing. Maybe I needed the break I took from gym over the holiday. Im not justifying it but I can def feel my body responding again.. Feels good... Have a great day everyone !

RIGHT! You're doing great, you still stayed within the net, and now you will remember not to let yourself get too hungry! you can SO do this, absolutely--you are, you will, you CAN! And oh, yeah, looked at myself in my workout clothes yesterday and it didn't make me immediately want to put a bag over my head. ;)

I've spent years avoiding looking at myself in a mirror and just this morning at the gym I was in the locker room (fully clothed) and I stopped and took a peek. Not half bad! I did suck in and push out to see what I would look like with smaller stomach and bigger boobs at which point someone else came in and we both pretended not to see each other, lol!

The full-length mirror in my bathroom tells the story every time I strip for a shower. And so long as your mom is not acting possessively dependent on you (guilt trips, etc.), missing the gym once in a while is probably okay. (I know that I'd resent it, too).

I didn't have a full length mirror for years. I now have a cool pair for the end of my little hallway, they are still wrapped in plastic. Have to paint the hallway before they go up.
