Still tired and achy and it is still cold but moderately better today. But the start to the morning is not good. Ty took a walk and got something in his eye and i think it is probably a corneal abrasion or along that line. He woke in a lot of pain and discomfort. It is not Pink eye because there is not crust of infection just a lot of pain and watering. Ibuprofen has made it tolerable for him to get through the weekend and avoid the ER which would be 5x the cost of going to dr's office as it is automatically $500 co-pay to walk into the ER. I am really struggling to see how this ACA is affordable but what can u do? So, I will be calling Dr's office at 8 am and getting him in. I hope the appt is for midday because I just painted the floor in the all that needs tiled with a waterproofing sealer as this room actually gets wetter than my BR floor after the kids have been in it. First coat was mostly cured to step on in an hour and we are hoping to lay tile this afternoon as the shop is closed and we cannot walk on this floor for 16-24 hours after it is laid. only 3x 12 so should not even be. too many cuts. But it needs a few hours to dry so I can walk on the sealer. And dummy me forgot my breakfast and tea in the main part of the house. SMH... I can go out the business door and in the other door and hop over the corner of stuff painted. But talk about a blonde start for the day. SMH... Think I have myself more or less back on track as I am showing a small loss this morning. Pain is still there but I slept better though not great. Hot flashes last night were bad making me toss the covers off but not enough to chill me and make is hard to fall back asleep. I cannot wait for this perimenopause thing to end. This weekend was homecoming and I have pics of DD and her BF and the finished LR floor for you today.

Pretty! She looks happy and I love her dress. The room looks great too. Feel better and I hope his eye heals quickly. That is expensive.

Appt at eye dr at 10:45 and the morning pain pill has kicked in so he is feeling moderately better. THis is her first real BF so it is an exciting time for her. He is homeschooled but she met him at the vocational school she goes to for metal trades as they are in class together. He is a sweet guy from what I can tell and I am glad she is happy. I am glad that floor is done too.

Do you have any walk-in urgent care facilities that you could take him to? That might get him seen quicker than an appt. Your daughter is beautiful and they make a nice-looking couple . . . floors look fantastic -- like the work of a professional!

Urgicare here is only after hours 5 pm - 9 pm m-w-f. So The appt was a better time. Got into the Eye Dr and it was a corneal abrasion and there was still a tiny black bit of dust under the upper lid where I had been unable to see. Dr flipped the eyelid inside out to see it. We have been flushing it for nearly 2 whole days off and on and did not get that tiny fleck. Glad I took him to the Dr

Your daughter looks great and the for looks amazing, like a dance floor! Well done on the loss too 😀 For hot flushes, I found layers work best, then you don't have to toss the whole lot off, just enough to be comfortable.
