Sprains often take longer to heal than breaks. Be careful. I would stay off as much as possible,,, someone with many many sprains in my history.

Stay off of it! I didn't when I had broken bones in my foot and have been paying the price for years. I hope it heals cleanly and quick.

Don't push it. Wore an ankle cast for a couple of months ... Initially the ankle would have been fine but I did everything you are NOT supposed to do and wound up having surgery. You don't want to go there.

Take care now so it doesn't haunt you in later years.

It was either the water balloon fight or the yoga( i had to keep up with the younguns lol). I didn't notice until the next morning when it was swelled up like a ballon and bruised. Just one of those things. I refuse to slow down because I 'might ' get injured and every now and again I pay the piper. The truly Ironic part is my 'sports' injuries never come from sports, its always from fooling around with the kids. Thanks for all the well wishes. Y'all going to have to deal with my crabbiness for the next few weeks lol.

Take it easy and elevate it to keep the swelling down. Take care and feel better soon :)

Take good care of that foot--you are going to need it later! I am sorry to hear that you got injured. But yoga? Really? :)

I'm sure the water balloon fight is more likely than the yoga... take care, rest when you can even if you refuse to give in to it.... just do as little as you can get away with. Wishing you a pain free foot and ankle soon!
