We tend to externalize personal experiences when supporting and giving advice to others, here goes mine... When I've 'slipped' up in the past and had a bad day with food, it has taken me a week or two for my body to get back into the groove.. I think of it as my body is pouting and just won't budge. Eventually the bad self went back to sleep which allowed me to resume loosing.
I can only do what I know what works, the rest of it is in God's hands. Looking at your previous losses, you've got nothing to worry about. The last uptick you had was back in Feb. You're doing awesome! That's my Prov 12:25 for ya. :D

Thanks everyone...those who commented and those who "only" supported...BOTH meant a LOT to me today...(they ALWAYS do...but even more so this "round".)
AnD thanks FROSTY, YOU have EARNED the right to share because you "are getting it done" AND because you "are a BUDDY."...Either one give you the "RIGHT" to offer advice...so thanks.... AND thanks again to ALL of you (and certainly to GOD for HIS ETERNAL GRACE and LOVE...I could have never "climbed" this far "on my own."

I hate to record gains too, but it can be beneficial to do so. Some day in the future, you can look back, compare your weight graph to your food diary & journal and learn great lessons. Besides, you don't want your FS buddies to think you are perfect, do you?

I think we all hate to record gains....if I lose, I record immediately...and if I gain, I wait until my weigh in day in hopes that some miracle will occur. Usually, it is a matter of water weight and the gained weight is off! I do agree with BuffyBear that great lessons can be learned as I often go back to see how I loss weight, especially when I stall or struggle.

I understand what you are going through. I am steadily climbing in weight myself but it can also make us stronger and be more determined than ever before. You can do it!

What is that rule? What goes up must come down? So you gained... so what! brush it off! you will loose it! WE ARE LOOSERS! RIGHT Seriously though... don't beat yourself up over it. we are all in this together. I didn't like recording my gain but I have to" own it" right? part of logging our food is keeping us accountable... so is logging our gains and losses. Just know this... no matter what you do or how much you loose or gain... you are part of this fat family no matter what! and family sticks together!!!

I've been in that spot of gaining/losing the same weight for a few weeks, although I do believe that with this week I'm finally over the hump. For me it's mental, I wasn't in the right frame of mind and for a while content with the progress I'd made even though it's not where I want to be. But the contentment is over and I'm back on track thank goodness. Maybe that's similar for you? Just keep at it as best you can, don't give up, and it'll all come together to the point you're over the hump and moving forward. We're on a long term journey, speed to getting there isn't important, just persistence and perseverance.

I can relate to you! I have had a muscle tear and my exercise has taken a back seat for the fifth time this year. I do not want to give up but my body needs rest :( I guess we shall get up and go for it harder once we get better
