It is so hard to be strong when sometimes you just need to be weak. I wish Karma was that swift! I hope that you get a job soon! 

Ah S#it, sorry. I don't think it's karma. If a relationship is not working then it's time to end it. You did him and you a favor by not waiting to get married first, then you would have to go through the painful process of divorce too. I hope you will find a new job really soon.

Definitely not karma. Just a sign of the times. Hang in there. There is always a reason for why things happen, you just may have to wait a bit to find out what it is. I was told I won't have a job next school year. I am looking at it as an opportunity to find a better job! Chin up.

sorry to hear that.. i was passed over for a promotion last week and i know work rejection sucks. Hang in there and be strong..When one door closes , another opens is what my mom always used to say.  

You have a lot on your plate, but you will get through it. I know you may feel horrible for breaking off your engagement, but I give you a lot of credit for having the intelligence and guts to do it. It would be terrible to get married just for a wedding or being afraid to disappoint someone. Kudos to you. You have a good insight and you are a strong person. I'm sorry to hear about your job, too. Again, I think it is a new beginning for you. How many people stay in their jobs because of security? I think you are going to move on into something better. It just feels like something big and wonderful is going to happen for you. A whole new beginning, a whole new you. 

Sorry to hear about your layoff, that's hard. My daughter was laid off the same day also. I told her when one door closes another one opens. I know it's tough an it sucks. Hang in there, saying a prayer for you.
