How to change date that I started new diet?
You can try going to the My Diet section, then changing the calendar date on top, then changing the diet. Mind you, I have no idea if that will work, or if you will lose any data but it might. Good luck.

My first day
I am also on a 1200 calorie regimen. I use myfitnesspal.com to track everything. It makes it very easy to plan my meals. I have gone over only once or twice. The database is extensive. You need to start preparing your own meals though, instead of eating out. You will find you are in much more control, and it won't be so hard. Good luck.
