Is it Thursday already? Boy, where has the week gone??
Cruddy stormy weather for the next few days really hampers out doors activity, good news no garden watering necessary.

Food plan going well, feeling "lighter". Only recording whole number losses so hopefully the next weight recorded will bring me into a new decade. I have been hanging here in the 250's for so long, I am ready to leave them behind for good! I did see a post awhile ago, forget who said it but the jist was that if you were at a weight for a long period of time in your life, you will probably hang there for awhile as your body feels this is where it should be....WRONG, need to bypass it and keep moving on. Unfortunately, I do remember being in the 250's AND 240's for probably 10 years each so I may have a long haul to get past the next decade as well. Not gonna worry about that for now, will cross that bridge when I get there!

Saw something on TV this morning as I was preparing my oatmeal. Denny's has a new sandwich called the Midwestern meat something, basically it is some kind of chopped up meat, french fries, cheese, ketchup. Almost made me want to vomit. I just have a hard time thinking that people actually eat food like that.

Did anyone happen to catch Dr. Oz yesterday, he did a great piece on sugar and what it does to your body. Yikes, just about as bad for your liver as alcohol!! Will do some more research on that and do a forum maybe over the weekend. Stay tuned!

Hope you all have a great day today, the weekend is almost here!

I'm so glad you're feeling "lighter". That in itself can be very motivating. I also remember that post about your body being comfortable at at certain weight and just staying there. I strongly disagree with that logic and there are many successes here that disprove such nonsense. Enjoy saving on your water bill and keep up the good work!

Glad your feeling better.. I hate when I stall and that usually happens after I lose a couple of pounds..Its got to be the age and my ability to stay focused on the execises..I wish I had the will power to do more. I think about it and then I need to do something else. Have a wonderful day girl.....Bren

Don't you love feeling lighter! Thanks for the Dr. Oz tip - will look that up also and will watch for your forum. I get a big kick out of the high fructose corn syrup commercials saying their product is just like sugar - as if sugar is a beneficial product to be compared to.

I'm loving that "lighter" feeling you have!! I agree with you that sandwich sounds awful - I must admit I avoid all proceeded food and if I am out and about rather choose the option of going hungry if I can't find anything organic, or the very least without a zillion e-numbers - calories are too precious to waste on rubbish food :)

That meal would have made me feel the same way. Just reading it turned my stomach. Congrats on the "lighter" feeling. I love them.

Good Morning Bab. I'm following this weather closely. We're going to the Travelers Championship on Saturday. I don't like when they go out in 3-somes...

You'll be out of the 250's before you know it. Just keep working it Babs!! You can do it! That lighter feeling is your body's way of saying Go Woman Go!! Lets Beat this Decade!! Be safe if your driving today, I'm sure your garden appreciates the extra water though. ^.^

That Denny's sandwich sounds horrible! Haven't seen that commercial - maybe they're test-marketing it in your area of the country. We can only hope it fails! Stay dry and enjoy your time indoors.

Commercials are different now for me too. I see the Pizza Hut, Burger King, Captain D's, and Subway. For the most part, I enjoy the picture - how yummy some of them look from the ad - knowing the calorie count would be out of this world and knowing the real thing is never as appetizing as it is on the tv. LOL. Subway does come close - the Turkey, Bacon and Advacado is pretty good.
