Good morning everyone! Daylight savings time is kicking my ass. Both of my kids were almost late for school this morning, and they leave at two different times. lol You would think at least the one that goes last would be on time, but I'm just dragging so bad. It's too dark out!! I hate how as soon as it starts lightening up in the mornings we have to go and set the clocks back. Ugh. I'm ready for bright mornings and late evenings.

The weather is finally cooperating though, we are seeing forties here and if we are lucky we might even touch fifty. It feels like a day at the beach compared to the past few months. Today I'm going to surprise my dog by taking him on a walk. Yeah, he's going to be so excited. I'm excited too, a little fresh air could do me some good. I was hoping for some sun, but I won't push my luck!

All things diet and exercise have been on point. I went to the gym with my husband last night and I'm pretty sore this morning. When he is working out beside me I push a little harder to try and keep up with him. I have a little competitive streak I suppose. He is starting to log his intake, but of course it's not going to be too hard for him when his wife knows the calorie content of every meal he eats. lol Some people have it so easy ;) I'm happy to have him working towards the same goals with me, we can keep each other focused.

School is good. This is the first week since the holidays that we have no tests, no competencies, no clinicals. Just class. It's a recipe for a great week. The next two weeks are all exams though lol. It's hard to balance studying, household responsibilities, and diet/activity. I need to start reviewing for the final I have coming up. Ah well, where there is a will there is a way.

Hope everyone is off to a great start this week :)

You are a lucky lady. I would kill to get my boyfriend on board with the healthy eating for all his meals. So far I can only control the dinner meal he is eating. But goodluck with your journey, it is awesome to have your partner do this with you and support you!

Good to hear from you, as always! And, yes, it is SO easy to have all the work done for you. I've been trying to get my hubby to take some of the ownership of his eating...alas, he's not quite there yet even though he would just be clicking slightly larger portions of everything I input. We lived with my MIL for a brief time early in our marriage. Every day, we'd come home from work and have a freshly made bed, clean/folded clothes and you could smell her dinner cooking from way out in the garage. SO much about he/she dynamic became clear to me. Then, I KNEW what it must be like to have a good wife and have been jealous every since! (lol) And the time change is kicking me too :P

I know how hard the juggling can be. I try to enjoy every little step I make in keeping control over everything. I can see you are a very positive person and also enjoy ticking off the things you've done rather than stressing over what's not done yet. Good luck on your exams and I wish all of you a wonderful spring!
