I hope that you're wrong about that. Continuing to say prayers for you. 

Thanks, JMB. I hope so, too. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. 

Perhaps those symptoms are also part of another ailment. I think a diagnostic of ALS would have been at the forefront of the doctor's list of possibilities. Don't jump to conclusion, you'll worry yourself for nothing. Stay positive.  

NowIunderstand, true that. Regardless of what I have, my condition is rapidly deteriorating. 

Well, what is it exactly that the docs say? What is their diagnostic? Besides telling you what is going on, what did they formulate as the ailment and treatment?  

NowIunderstand, they are still testing. Physical therapy tomorrow. MRI Friday. 

Once they get their hands on a proper diagnostic, you may see a rapid turnaround. Sometimes it's the diagnostic that's the longest. Even more so than the remedy. Visualize and meditate. Anecdotal evidence of some people curing themselves (or at least helping themselves greatly) through those techniques does exist.  

I hope so. I'm now on a walker. It's getting harder to get out of a chair or bed. My handwriting is illegible. My right hand is clawing up.

I will be praying, too. I hope you can get a clear medical diagnosis from your doctor so that you both can develop a game plan going forward.

Sending positive thoughts your way that you are wrong about ALS and there will be a quick turnaround when the they figure it out.
