Up again, hopefully water weight since I've been keeping the calories in check. Been back swimming and had 6.5 km walk the other day, in 1.5 km increments. So, my eating is healthy, my exercise is good, I have to believe the weight will start coming off again.
Cheers all.

If you are doing everything right then weight loss will follow. Some weeks it's just slower, hang in there :-)

Water can be a big player, I love lemon juice and icewater, I have been more careful on when to cut drinking off for the night

Thanks Gnewfry! You can do it too! I know how hard it is with the pain working against us. If you do too much you pay with a flare. Monday's walk really wrecked me for the week. It's so frustrating not to be able to do what we want, but every little bit counts. I guess this weight-loss thing ain't going to be a sprint but a marathon.

definitely a marathon! i stopped taking my fibromyalgia med because i wasn't sure what it was really doing for me, and because i couldn't afford it last month. so far a little more achey, but nothing awful. i saw the return of my lower back pain, which i always thought i had since i was too fat, and that was somewhat of a relief. a doctor i saw about my back actually told me i'd always be in pain and i needed to lose right away. i didn't go back to her. she also told me my plantar fasciitis was from being too fat. but athletes get that. so it was a bit validating to find out the back pain had another origin. there are trigger points there too. i'll go back on the med soon, i just wanted to see if i really needed it. maybe i do.

Gnewfry, maybe as time goes on you will be able to get off the meds. It has been proven exercise helps Fibro. I was diagnosed with it many years ago, it has never been a huge problem but the more out of shape and heavier I became the more the problems I had. The deep muscle pain, just a touch anywhere on my body = pain, the brain fog, etc. especially flaring in the spring and fall. Last spring I only had a couple days when it flared. I believe the weight loss, eating healthier, and exercise has been the reason.

wholefoodnut, i think exercise is probably the most important thing. but i read fibro can interfere with the endorphins usually released by exercise. now i know why i don't enjoy it as much as other people do. as the week goes on, i am thinking i need this med less and less. i have some back pain, but i can still walk and feel ok. before i exercised, the walk would kill me. pain 8-10/10. and that was after only a block.

Chris, might be you are hanging on to some water weight. All of the canned soups have a large amount of sodium as well as bakery goods like bagels and muffins. Even low sodium canned items have a fair share of sodium. Drinking extra water will flush your system out if that is the case.
