It's been 31 days (one month) since I've started my diet. I am proud to say that I was at 190 and dropped to 175. I've lost 15 pounds in fat, 5 inches from around my waist, 1 inch around my arm, and 3 from around my thighs. My weight loss slowed down due to my current weight training for lean muscles, but inches are still coming off- yay. This has been some adventure! And you've all helped me stay on track. Thank you so much! I hope that in the next 31 days I'll lose 8 more pounds. Bring it on April (some of may too!) I'm ready for you!

Congratulations!!! Can I ask what your goal weight is? I'm at 211 and I'm looking to get to 130...so I've a long way to go, but the support from others on this site is amazing.

Wow you have inspired me! I just hit 3 weeks and down 10 lbs. feeling discouraged since no weight los in weight week 3. I often get off track around now so could use some encouragement. You are that encouragement!! Thanks

My goal weight is 140, so I'm 35 pounds away from my goal. This site is amazing for mental support. It's like a second little voice in your head.

Yes, I'm just starting, but looking around the site makes me know I can do it. Well, I'll be with you for your last 35 and my first 35. The Biggest Loser has NOTHING on this site.

That is amazing! Congrats 150@53! There is no reason to be discouraged because you are doing so well! 10 pounds in 3 weeks? That's fantastic! Keep doing what you're doing, and you'll make it to your goal too!

You can do it, so don't worry! You will have those discouraging moments, and you will falter and eat something you know you'll regret later, but that is all in the process. You'll have the entire FatSecret community backing you up. You can do it ! :D

Wow, you really do rock! Thanks for your encouragement, it really does make a difference! I too started at 190 and am afraid to wish for 140 so taking baby steps. First goal 170, then we will see how it goes from there.

Yay, Aamaddux!! My goal is 140 and it seems OH so far away...but I'll just keep plugging at it a pound at a time :) We got this, ya'll!

150@53 : You're welcome. One thing I've learned is to not look at the main goal, but small goals. 5 pound goals are really good, because they are small- but perfect for a months time. 5 pounds in one month, and just take it one month at a time. If you keep looking at your entire number that you want to lose there is a more of a chance that you will give up, and lose hope. Keep it small and reward yourself every now and again!

Draglist: Thanks! ^.^ || LuC2: Small baby steps at a time. Even a small lost of 0.1 is something to be proud of. Keep up what you've been doing! And if you feel discouraged, just look at what you've lost already. :) That's always great motivation. You can do it!

Mine is also 140 and I have lost 14 lbs so far, started from 193 and just hit 179 today. This site is wonderful and very supportive. Whenever I get discouraged I visit thus site and it tells me that I can do it :)
