My Thought for Today -

Giving up on your goal because of a setback ....
is like Slashing the other three tires on your car because you got a flat.

Remember that our goals here are for a lifetime. There are always going to be ups and downs and we will all trip and fall at times.

The difference between a winner and a loser isn't how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up.

Have a great day!

Well said. I would add it's like kicking the coffee pot because you dropped it. I've done that. Give up caffeine? Surely you jest!

There is pretty much zero chance that I will ever give up coffee, much less caffeine in general. It is my life blood. Last summer I was down to drinking about 20oz per day, and may go to something like that this summer as well. But over the winter, I drink about 60oz or so per day. Also, started grinding my own and got a new single cup brewer for Christmas, so every cup is fresh ground and fresh brewed. All that's left is for me to roast my own beans...LOL!

Awesome point. Everyone screws up and makes mistakes. It's what you do after, that defines you as a person.
