OK...here we go...another day and another date. UGH...its date 3 with a guy (he is real and not in my imagination, I swear). I dont like going out for dinner and NOT having red wine especially when its a new dating scenario. I guess I could take up crack, i hear people lose weight nicely on crack...FYI - IM KIDDING.

So how do people lose weight if they dont give up wine...is it even possible????

on a scale of 1 to 10 - I have a 10 for the hatred of no wine.

Of course it's possible. You have to plan for it, drink a glass or two, drink plenty of water and get in extra exercise on those days if possible. You might need to run...gurlll, lol!

I wrote on another thread about wine. That was a biggie for me. I cheated on my calorie intake ( less) drank the wine w lots more water than I preferred. The wine gets spent first before the body fat. Their are consequences .. I hear ya, thankfully I'm taking meds and since cut it out completely. Refrain as much as you can, compromise w fluid and cal intake. Not the hardcore advise as to suck it up and refrain but may be more realistic. Best and enjoy your date. :).

Just have a glass of wine. A 5 oz. glass of red wine is around 125 calories. So, just plan accordingly and have fun.

ugh...THANK YOU ALL!! I like wine but i only drink it a couple times a week...i will work out like a wild animal tomorrow, hahahaha.

So...what about bowling? Or skating, or trampolines? Lots of fun stuff besides eating out.

jeez people...date 3, im not bowling, skating or movies...Im trying to chat and get to know someone. \its all in your lifestyle....I love the feedback but I work downtown toronto and after work dinner is what you tend to do when you are in a suit.

You can drink some wine on a diet. Just don't go much over your calorie limit, and remember that calories from alcohol will be used by your body before anything else.

I'm a sucker for it. But I was in great shape before and drank wine so I can do it again.
