So very happy to hear that he has found a job, I hope it is in the accounting field. So very very happy for your family.

It is in accounting I guess. It is a temporary position evaluating whether a companies new computer program will match up to where their existing program is. I am going to call it a type of auditing. He just interviewed for it today and he starts it on Tuesday. It is through a temp agency...but it will give him some experience which he needs. Possibility of some overtime in the position as well. He got an A in auditing in college...so that seems to be his strength. Still hoping the position where he can pursue his CPA comes through. As of a couple days ago that company had not decided who they were bringing back for second round of interviews. Hopefully the experience with this temp position will give him a leg up on that job as well.

suggest to your son; to be open to what he now had; sometimes what we really want is not Gods' plan and can be a place where it is tough to work for or with the people. Every door opens for a reason; wishing him good luck

Thanks again...and foreverhealthy3...that is something that we have to remember too. God has a plan for Travis. Possibly him getting this job is going to be the key for the next job and so on. He will have to drive from our house into Minnepolis area for this job~about 45 miles one way. It is supposed to last about 2 months. The driving should be beautiful this time of year without icy roads. Will give him exposure to life in the metro area (larger than Grand Forks where he went to college). Perhaps he is meant to fall in love with metro living, instead of the rural farm country where we live. Life is a ride...may as well enjoy it!
