Still snowed in... & getting a little stir crazy! Yesterday was too windy to x-country for me (DH went out anyway) so had to get some exercise on the treadmill & by shoveling (its really hard work to shovel 2+ feet of snow -- my arms gave out after less than 1 hour -- and where to throw it all!) Our street has been plowed, but not our driveway. We spoke with our plow guy yesterday, but he's so backed up, couldn't get all his workers in, yada, yada, yada! Anyway, I'll pray & breathe through it, & enjoy the beauty of the snowy landscape out my back door, & hope to get out on those x-country skis when the temps warm up -- we're in the teens now, but heading to the mid 30s they say.

I had ezekiel bread yesterday for my wheat serving which again produced some stomach distress, so this uneducated scientist is taking the stance that "honey its best to back away from the wheat too". Anyone else who doesn't eat wheat & has any tips for me, please let me know. The only thing I really missed was my steel cut oats, & I've come to love the gluten free variety -- so no worries there!

Since I can't get out to workout (which doesn't make me very happy), I just found some online exercise videos so think I'll try one this morning after I pray --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

And again today through my stir-craziness, I'll pray, breathe, log, post & express through this one snowed-in day, meal, moment, bite & emotion at a time. xoxox

Yes, you certainly can go stir crazy trapped inside. I am not a baker but there are countless recipes for products made with almond flour, flax seeds, etc. I prefer substituting vegetables instead (like spaghetti squash in a stir fry or sliced zucchini substituting for lasagna noodles). So while you are trapped inside maybe you could spend the day doing experimental cooking?

Morning Angel Ruth - glad to read you're ok, have power, etc., even though dealing with cabin fever. Will pray for clear drive and warmer temps for you ~ meanwhile, have fun in the lab but stay out of the kitchen (haha, your bouncer).
