Good thing I let it snow yesterday, because boy did it ever! I have drifts at my back door of about 3 feet & at least 2 feet throughout the yard... its truly a winter wonderland! But DH got home:) -- San Diego to LA to DC by air, then by train to NYC & another train to CT where a neighbor braver than I took our truck to get him at the train station. Poor guy started his day at 4 am in CA & got home at 11 pm! But he's home safe & sound, we have power (at least for now!), we're well stocked (with healthy foods) & I hope to be out x-country skiing or snowshoeing this afternoon! So, no Nemo is keeping me down!
Had another serving of wheat yesterday, and again had some stomach distress. Today I'll try Ezekiel (sprouted wheat) bread, but this lab rat was feeling better wheat free, so not to jump to conclusions, but I'm thinking I'll stay off wheat.. especially since I really don't miss it & have struggled to add it back.
So, Nemo & I are starting our day again in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
And, we'll pray, breathe, log, post & express again for this one snowy day, meal, moment, bite & emotion at a time. Hope all my FS friends have done okay in the Blizzard of 2103! xoxox
