TGIF, my FS friends! On my own for the weekend as hubby is now skiing in Aspen with the guys for the weekend & returns home Sunday night. It's a bitter sweet trip as while they are/will be enjoying themselves heartily I'm sure, the impetus for the trip was to fulfill the wishes of a friend who passed away this past summer from Lou Gehrig's disease. He wanted his ashes spread in 4 places & Aspen is the final spot. Remembering our friend this morning and thanking God for every healthy moment, and the chance to have many, many more of them by staying the course with a healthy diet and exercise plan.
So, I begin my day again today asking for serenity --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
And, praying, breathing, logging, posting & expressing on this one day, meal, bite, moment & emotion at a time.
