Tonight I will get a new workout in. Well kinda.. we are having new carpet delivered on Saturday so I need to sort and clear out the bedroom and decide what I need to keep and what I can get rid of. I get the feeling this is going to involve alot of carrying heavy items upstairs to be stored. Woohoo! It's the only night we're done with chores early and hubby is out of the house so I might get something accomplished.

Speaking of working out in my quest to get a sculpted toned body I'm starting a new self challenge. By the end of February I will complete a crazy number of crunches, planks, push-ups, reverse crunches, and squats. I'm thinking 5,000 each. That means a little over 125 of each exercise every day. I think I can do it. Granted.. I haven't done a pushup since high school so there may be a little lag in some of the exercises a few days in when I'm unable to move certain muscles. Can anyone think of any other good exercises to add to the mix?

As for food.. I'm doing good. I'm not cheating. I did have a love affair with a stick of pepperoni but it's in the acceptable foods so it wasn't cheating. It felt like cheating but it wasn't. Want to see some seriously funny reactions? Knaw on a giant stick of pepperoni when you're bumper to bumper in rush hour traffic then when you notice the person next to you watching you wave to them with your giant stick of pepperoni and smile reallllllly big. Hey.. at least I wasn't pumping my boobs this time! My friend is gone now. An hour and 45 minute commute will do that. Gotta love upstate NY weather. If I had slid off the road and down a hill at least I was prepared. I think a giant pepperoni stick should be a part of every persons survival pack.

Holy cow! That's some self challenge you've come up with! I was congratulating myself for doing one sixty second plank in class Friday; I bow to your ambition! Don't have too much fun tonight! Actually that does sound like a good, satisfying workout you can really sink your teeth into (Kinda like pepperoni, lol)

Ok.. I just figured out the time spent doing 130 1 minutes planks a day.. I'm motifying that one a little. lol

What a nice treat - a new carpet for the bedroom. As for your exercises - This makes me sore just reading about it! But somehow I think you are going to do this! Go for it!

Sounds like you are doing well! It's great that you are giving yourself a challenge that you can do at home and get fit with. Lunges are a good exercise too, and you can do them as you're making your way across the room. Good luck!!

LOL at the pepperoni stick! That is funny. The challenge sounds challenging, at least to this ol' woman. I am with Buffy...it makes me sore and tired just thinking about it! Have a great day!

Good luck woman! I have been sooooo unmotivated lately. You need to start kicking my butt! And as for the cheating... it wasn't cheating but a BK salad?? REALLY?? Wegman's is another mile down the road and a chef salad is only 5.00! I know, look at my diet for yesterday, it's where I was lol!

You don't know the worst part! I was at wegmans then drove down the road to get the BK salad! In my defense.. I passed by the sushi with minimal drool and the salads didn't look good.

I picked up sushi first and them changed... don't know which salads you were looking at but my chef was actually really fresh. That's just wrong then.... I was there about 12:20! I could've shown you lots of options lol.

I didn't get there until 1:30 I couldn't get out any earlier for lunch. That's probably why. Everyone stole all the good choices.

Oooh, that's quite the challenge!! I need to do something like that too... I think you should probably add burpees to the challenge though.. New carpet sounds like fun!! Hope you can get that bedroom cleared quickly!

Side planks are a bit more challenging, & instead of being static, try to move your body round while your arm( the one that you are not leaning on) goes underneath you, hold for a second & return to starting position. I fell over a few times in the beginning. LOL. but I soon toughened up. ;)
