Cleanse day 3 coming to an end, & so far, so good! I'm feeling good & the sugar cravings are gone... For now. But I know a raw food diet is not for me long-term, so have been researching & reading about best diet types for sugar addicts. Any suggestions? This has been taking up my spare time, but will be checking in with my FS friends now! Miss you all! Xoxox

Some people liken sugar addiction to drug addiction. I can see their point; nothing like a sugar buzz followed by the all encompassing crash. Everything I have read recommends a slow transition away from it and eventually, we won't crave it anymore. I don't know about that - I can smell sugar from a mile away!
Good luck on your quest!

I ordered that candigone cleanse tonight for myself - not so much for sugar as just overall 'feel better'? I don't think I would enjoy a raw food diet long term either. I am definitely interested if you want to share what you've found in your research that you feel will help you in your quest. Take care of you. Bella.

I wish i knew how to help you but i just don't care about sweets at all i drink a chocolate protein shake everyday. Its like having my dessert but its good for me. Have you tried doing anything like that? Or maybe eating a chocolate protein bar?

I was totally addicted to sugar. Then I tried the Body by Vi challenge and my cravings for sweets were are gone. I used to drink a ton of Mountain Dew and now I drink water and exercise. I go for the healthier snacks now.

I have found the longer I go without it, and the more I eat whole healthy foods - the less reaction and cravings I have. 'Processed foods' are hard on my system, 'artificial' ingredients etc, they all seem to work against me once I have switched over to eating just whole real food. I eat anything that is made with one ingredient - or up to a couple of 'one' ingredient foods. If I can't pronounce it... I generally don't eat it. (well, if I can't pronounce the ingredient.) You get my drift LOL! Anyway, eating 'clean' helps me control the sugar rollercoaster quite well.
