LOL! You deserve a gold star for turning down an apple crumble! I love the 'transcript'! Day 7 - WOW - time flies when yer chewin on meat! I'm sure the scale will cough up that 177 in no time! 

Your journals make for really good short stories, lol. I love reading em'.. and congrats to you on the apple crumble... awwhhh, I would have crumbled!!! 

chuckles... repeating the phrase "Day seven of induction" sounds like something from the inner sanctum of the Stonemasons guild! Just so long as there are no funny rituals like prancing round in an atkins nappy whilst venerating the "Almighty T - Bone steak" or stuff like that.. and lori... iffin that thing is not frozen by tonight - who knows WHAT may happen! Happy Monday to ya both... keep between the ditches now.. 

and iffin you lived closer to me... I'd done stole that thing, LOL 

Ah, yes, Lori -- I look for Dave's journals and comments wherever I can find them, because the laughs give my day such a great start!! Dave, any chance you can get Sarah to give the Nasty Crumbles to somebody else when you're not at home?

Well I was thinking that maybe I could warm it all up and leave it on the windowcill to cool and hope that lori abandons her treadmill...packs the kiddies to her best pal promising not to be too long (with instructions to take them to the park and Mc D's) then all lori would have to do is jemp on a 747, wing her way over here, hop on the 47a bus asking to get off at the crossroads - THEN with only a 5 mile jaunt across the bog shure I think that gal would have deserved it... don't you? Hoping you are well....have you journaled recently? I was thinking that I had not seen one from you or Andee in a lil while.. gonna have to get on to her too! grins...life IS good...  

LOL, By the time all that traveling and running around is done.. I'll have lost enough to actually eat the whole thing!! ;)

mmmmmmm apple cobbler ....lol..looks like the desserts was runnin wild this weekend...but lest you didnt give in. 

Great job resisting temptation. It does get easier...er, somewhat. Be patient with the scale, most of us want to bludgen it from time to time, but it doesn't make it go down any faster. It is too bad your neighbor probably thought she was doing you a favor, but ended up complicating things. Most people are quite understanding when I tell them "I can't have sugar". I usually appreciate that they require no further explanation.  

Good job on losing the 2 lbs. I'm hoping to be that successful after this week! Your description of the apple crumbles made my mouth water! I had to take several deep breaths and drink much water after that! :) 

It really has been confessions all around the last few days. Wow, Dave, I'll say it "You are a better man than me" ahem....well, perhaps I should say that is appropriate seein that i'm not a man at all. I would have had to have a paper thin slice (at a time...)!!! Good job! 

you are hilarious! and so original! I'm gonna have to go back and read more of your posts when I need a pick-me-up! :) 

lol Way to go on the resistance front!! Man... apple pie/cobbler... I'd be the "crumble", neck deep! Sounds like you were a force to be reckoned with! Keep up the great work!! 

Day 7...ham bone in hand and knuckles draggin the ground! By now he has invented FIRE and is about to demonstrate how to put saab on blisters! Tomorrow's class is all about the fine art of heating a pie over an open flame! Seating is first-come first-served...with all the largest tribal members seated in the front! (it keeps them from fighting for it, which means less bruises and knocks upside the head for us!) 

... at the appointed hour as the sun rises the tribal incantation rises into the air "Uggg uGGGGG Ugggg" The hallowed sarcrificial Pie is lowered over the flame to the appreciative drools of the ammassed throng... anticipation tingles as the day of the T Bone steak approaches.... 

Did this apple crumble have chocolate?? No, guess I AM safe from at least this one, provided I don't get in the way of the rest of the tribe. Continue your fight with TEMPATION, may you conquer all and beat the scales into submission! 

Chuckling merrily at all the comments... Update on the Crumble.. when I got home last night the Crumble had been interred in the great resting place of the sweet ones.. laid to rest (or thrown in the bin - whichever works best) and honestly, I think it had to be this way... we may have to compose an ode to the late crumble in its memory - but its gone.. we have to...have to let it go... Done... now wheres me lamb chop (see how fickle I am!) 

Good for you, Dave!! Mama always said, Don't waste cuz' some people don't have any food.. but dang, they ain't at my door to pick it up either and sweets are the devil!! I've been guilty of throwing out some things ... or pouring gross things on top of it until it's sick looking and NO ONE in their right mind would touch it!
