Well, I won't beat myself up today, for a dumb mistake I made! I thought I'd make me a banana - blueberry smoothie using heavy whipped cream and silk unsweetened coconut milk.Oh my gosh, it was simply delicious! My tongue wanted to slap my head it was so good! I thought it was in heaven for a while, but felt like I went to hell once I checked the amount of calories and carbohydrates. there were eight hundred+ calories and 72 + carbohydrates in that one glass of banana-blueberry smoothie. So, from this point on, I will check the calories and carbohydrates of anything that I eat or drink before I eat or drink.
256.8 lb Lost so far: 26.2 lb.    Still to go: 111.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good for you not beating yourself up. I want to say I'm sure we've all done this - I know for a fact i have, and it sucks but the next meal is an opportunity to get back on that horse. What's helping me is to log my food the day before (for the most part). That way I haven't actually consumed anything until I see the numbers and I can make adjustments accordingly. It's easier to delete something off my log than it is to deal with the scale the next morning - for me anyway. Good luck, hope you have a great week!

Yeah one banana has like 26 carbs, and that's almost all my carbs for an entire day. It's had to balance out Macros after that. Just start over the next day and save the smoothie for a treat.

Two good things from this experience is that you logged everything and realized how seldom you might want to do it again. Some people just have it, never log, have it repeatedly and wonder why they gain weight. You did good. New day tomorrow :)

I've had time to think on the situation - you got me thinking about smoothies - and bananas - I miss them. Fruit was always one of my favourite foods and nothing better than a smoothie for breakfast. Came up with an idea - what if you made the smoothie, poured it in an ice cube tray - add popsicle sticks and had it for a treat occasionally. You might get a dozen treats out of it, and 1/12th of those calories/carbs might be manageable in the course of a day - adjusting intake as necessary.... Otherwise if you like avocados & lemon - I found a great popsicle recipe online that is KETO and delicious.

Yeah, I've done a few "epic fails" over the past 13 months... welcome to the club (LOL!) - but, notice this... WE (out here in FS-land) acknowledge it and effect repairs on our WOEs... so KUDOS for sticking to it!

bananas have a ton of carbs, blueberries are great though if you limit amount. And, almond milk may work better than coconut milk...if you are ding keto then the heavy cream is fine
