Steven Anthony's Journal, 12 June 2018

Day 57 of my 90-day program was so-so. I had plenty of sleep in spite of some strange tension in my muscles that felt like too much energy. I had to stretch a lot and even get out of bed once to stretch, I was finally able to go back to sleep. I felt so good I decided to extend my fast. The good news is I was able to go beyond what I have even done before, specifically about 80 hrs fasted. At that point I Crumbcake was screaming as if I was torturing him and I decided to eat dinner. The other reason is that I have a client first thing in the morning today and needed to be "normal" and ready to work.

I walked 5 miles fasted, it wasn't too hard, I left plenty of time because I knew I would be walking slower. Timed myself and really was only about ten minutes longer. Felt great until about afternoon, then Crumbcake started screaming and I knew I had to eat or I might go banana's (yes, thoughts of cream pies were flashing through my mind).

So, ate dinner but stayed on my WOE, no disasters and reached a new mile-stone. Today I will pray for others who want to reach a new level or gain a new victory. Have a great day everyone!

Wow! You did it! You are officially an "extended faster". What membership to this club gets you is the wisdom that 'not eating will not kill me'. You can now use this power however, and whenever you decide :)

@Adefwebserver, that is wisdom I want to make part of my life, for the rest of my life. Fasting has so many benefits, is great for detoxification and autophagy and allows your body time to heal.

Steven Anthony, is "Crumbcake" the moniker you've given to your "bad diet angel"? (I like the idea of giving that guy a name!)

Even on a low cal, high protein diet, just not eating breakfast but taking a long walk instead can break a plateau. Metabolism is an an interesting thing. You learn as you lose weight what really works for you.
