I'm getting pretty anxious about weighing tomorrow, like panic attack anxious. A month is just far too long for me to wait between weigh ins when i am actively trying to lose weight. The front of my brain knows I've lost weight but the back part is second guessing dietary choices I've made even though I've had success both in the past before i had my son and in the two months preceding this last month. My palms are getting sweaty just typing this out. I'm also concerned about lying flat during my MRI tomorrow since my back pain is so intense when I'm flat on my back, but, honestly it's the weigh in that has me more discombobulated. I'm in pain all of the time. Pain i know all too well. It's my progress that feels like an unknown blank right now.

Dont stress out! You are the only person that can control your emotion. Take a deep breath, give it to God. Tell yourself, whatever happens, tomorrow is a new day, a new chance to make a change. You are in control of how you respond. Remind yourself when you start to panic, this is just one moment in a lifetime of moments. Do not let it control you, you control it!! You can do this!! Step at a time.

Awe honey. I know that anxiety well. Take deep breaths and remind yourself that you ARE making progress!! You’re doing so well! All you can do is your best and as long as you’re doing that...you will succeed! I also cannot lay flat without back pain. When I had my MRI they put a triangle shaped foam thingy under my knees and it helped tremendously. Like you, I live with pain but I will tell you this...the more we lose, the more some of that pain decreases 😁. I’m so proud of you!! You’re going to do great!

Is there any way you can put a pillow under your knees? It might help relieve some of the pain.

I hope they can moogiemynes. I've never been to the diagnostic center that I'm going to tomorrow. I haven't had an MRI for more than ten years. I'll be okay. I always am. Thanks y'all.

I had a friend who couldn't lie flat during her MRI and they put a pillow under her knees. Easy peasy. Hang in there!

I always get anxiety attacks when I even think about going to the doctor. Reading my bio you would know why. I totally sympathize. Just try to think of something that was wonderful in your life "your happy place". ((Hugs)) Good luck!

Hang in there. You have been doing well. Hopefully the scale will affirm it. Just breathe! Will be thinking of you, let us know how it goes!

@Kattay the only time i get out of the house is for medical reasons and often the morning of an appointment i get anxious but that's mostly because i know how challenging and painful that day is going to be and how I'm going to feel for the next couple of days. But getting ready is a little bit easier than it was two months ago, I don't feel like I'm wedged into the shower or the car seat like i did until March. If i got through it back then, i can do it now.

my thoughts are with you, try to devert your mind and relax, I take mind trips at times like this, it helps. I'm praying for you.

I am very glad you see some positive things about your visits. Awesome that it is going smoother now, and it will improve more. My "anxiety attacks" were a bit of an exaggeration but I do feel very nervous about any and all doctor's appointments, though not as bad as I used to get. Total stress so I know full well blood pressure will be up and their scale never matches my home scale. Then the major thing is my old foe might show back up.
