i was bad this weekend.. meh... Im doing ok with my workouts but i just cant seem to get my net carbs back down where i want to .. the struggle is real. BUT, im no quitter so here I go again.. Working towards 40 net carbs- 1 gallon of water and no crap today.. got my workout in but I just told new DH that no going out this weekend for me unless I get my 5 work outs in and meet my daily step goal of 11k per day AND my water goal.. that should motivate me.. there is a "ladies" nite at my favorite dive bar and they play 70-80's funk/disco and Im dying to get my dance shoes on.. This will be my reward if I can make my goals all this week..Im gonna be hard on myself just this week so I can get back on track.. I want to buy a new outfit also and wont do it unless I get my goals done for this week.. wish me luck.. Im gonna need it!

I just took a peek and you have done SO awesome! I mean Wow! So first, major pat on the back there! It sounds like you are staying aware and I think part of the journey might be learning what happens if when you eat 7 French fries! Maybe its worth it, maybe it isn't. I personally start getting the munchies if I go over 30 carbs. Especially if those carbs are from nuts and cheese. The satiety of "low carb" seems to be tied to a heap of veggies with fat at meals in addition to general high fat/ low carb for me. Maybe try that, see if it helps. But seriously, it IS a journey and things will be placed in our path that we have to confront. If your logged weight is accurate, you are an inspiration! 😊👍 Keep up the amazing work!

My weight is pretty accurate.. I toggle between 185-187 all week... depends what time of day I weight.. what saves me from gaining is that I do cardio every single day still. M-Th w/o fail and sometimes Friday.. Sunday we took a stroll to our botanical gardens and then went swimming so being active it really all thats keeping me from blowing up again.. BUT- I feel gross about my eating habits. The carbs are making me groggy and depressed ..SO ya.. those 7 fries are killing me.. I did get mean and started to add salads to every meal this weekend but I didnt log it and I ate out prolly 4 times which is never good in my book.. I need to get strict and add in those veggies and fats but Im back and forth from two houses and seem to be living by the seat of my pants some days.... Hence the RULES im am imposing on myself.. no date night or new clothes unless I work for it..

Red girl- read your reply. Wow! Again, just awesome. You sound verrrry busy right now. What about going to a really nice to-go salad bar 3 days in a row to get your spirits up and get the food prepared really quickly? I don't know if you have a Whole Foods ir other natural grocer in town but between their salad bar and burrito bar- you can put together a scrumptious veggie and meat based meal in minutes. Anyway, hats off to you, I'm a follower now. 😊

Try LCHF = Low carb high fat. 70% healthy fats including Irish butter and coconut oil & MCT Oil check out diet doctor.com for great recipes and all the science. It has kept me going over a year and feel I can do this for ever. No kidding!😊😁
