Good going on the loss! Sorry dinner didn't work out like you might have hoped. I feel for the middle kid. That happend to me a couple times as a kid and to this day there are some foods I just can't choke down. We're talking almost 50 years later! You think it was a taste thing or a texture issue? The chicken is bound to be a hit. Whatcha going to do with it? And whatcha planning for an alternative veggie?

Lol northern! I honestly had to laugh.... it was just horrible. he just hates everything but lettuce but i said to just eat half and I'll let him out of it. usually the rule is finish your vegetables and the rest I don't care... he drowned it in ranch and defeated the purpose of salad and then it all came back up.... whatever. and my husband HATES any food that comes out of water....he ate some but just couldn't eat it all. me and the oldest are the only ones who like seafood. .. so we are fine LOL

Sometimes things wrk out and sometimes it's just a fun story to tell over a glass of wine...I'm thinking the latter...thanks for sharing!! Good luck on the chicken! You're doing great, great attitude, a month down is a month in the right direction!!

Oh mercy....so the kid basically got sick drinking Ranch dressing. NOT funny but I'll bet it'll be quite a while before he wants Ranch again. The Chicken Parm sounds good even without the cheese! Good thing that he likes peas. Asparagus is on the schedule for the next few days here as well...at least as long as I keep finding it on sale ;-)

As a former teacher of 36 years, I could tell you stories, that would make your hair curl. Like the time a kid stepped in it outside, and decided to wipe it on his chair, and when he looked up, all the kids ran out of class in hysteria.
