OMG! HCB and all my buddies that tout Bulletproof Coffee.... GOD BLESS YOU ALL for introducing me to the Nectar of the Gods. I added cinnamon and a touch of vanilla which is my usual but I finally got some Kerry gold grassfed butter while shopping this morning and had to come home and try the BPC. Kerry Gold - best tasting butter I have had since Grandma Granger's fresh farm churned. WOW! I it brought tears to my eyes it was so good. Best beverage I have had since starting LCHF. AMAZING! WOW! I cannot say thank you enough.

Labor day nearly killed me. Up a lb today> :P OMG I ate too much and I only just shy of 1600 calories and stayed on plan otherwise carbs a little high at just shy of 40 net carbs but nothing over save calories everything else was on target. but still 400 calories more than usual and not even high salt intake. It will go away again I am not worried. I did not eat much before the evening meal and then I didn't go overboard a little but whatever. Will get back on track today though my trip will be salt laden I imagine. I got some apples, almonds, summer sausage, low carb wraps, turkey jerky sausage bites, pork rinds and we will have a few meals out here and there we determined because the salt content of this is mind boggling so I will focus on salads/low salt and as much fresh items as I can when I do get real meals. ANd water only water on the trip no soda - maybe coffee but sadly it will not be bulletproof.

Packing and prepping for the trip today so gonna run out after I finish nursing this cup and take a long walk then get back to finish things up. My posting will be off during the driving portions as I do not use a smart phone. Mine only calls and txts and takes pics when that will work. LOL

Happily, the kitchen is completely finished being set up - though some decorating still to come we are fully functional. My darling daughter finished up sorting out the plasticware for me and we set some things aside for each of the kids boxes for when they get their first apartments. I know it is a few years off but we have been doing this for about 2 years. We decide to upgrade something but save the older stuff and split it for the kids *moving * boxes. Mostly housewares. Plates silverware etc.... things that can get expensive when starting out. We plan on saving $$ and time by this process. Plus they get to take a bit of *home* with them.

Ok off for my walk and packing! Hope you all had a nice and safe holiday weekend and it continues through the coming week!

Bulletproof coffee! I use Kerrygold or President's butter only for them. I switched all my butter to those two. No other in my house anymore. Butter freezes well so when it goes on sale I stock up. Enjoy your walk and try to have some fun today.34

Great idea on the kitchen 'hand-me-downs' . . . those things do add up cost-wise when starting from scratch, so I love your 'recycling' plan! I'm not doing LC, but I am intrigued by the BPC -- have to make a grocery run today, so may look for/buy grassfed butter and give it a try! Safe travels and good luck with the convention.

It was yummy. But note to self If I am having BPC I have to give up reg breakfast atkins shakes - which is fine - my usual AM coffee never has this kinda calories! And was very glad for the energy boost before the later AM walk though because It was alot warmer than had I gone early and humid. I was dragon by hindquarters by time I got home 2.75 miles achieved and over 8 k steps for the day already. Off to packing.

AWESOME - Kelly! I use Kerrygold UNSALTED for BPC, and a tablespoon of coconut oil. The key of course is to blend the hell out of it so you get the creamy latte consistency! It have it as breakfast and seldom eat until 12:00pm , 1;00pm or 2:00pm. Great for intermittent fasting.

I did blend the heck out of it HCB! It was wonderful! I have not tried IF yet but will keep it in mind.

2 tbsp grassfed butter, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 16 oz hot coffee and blend it add sweetener and/or spices as you prefer. I use a little splenda and cinnamon and vanilla - blend it up good to emulsify the oils and it is a bit frothy like a good latte or cappuccino. so darn good and i feel instantly spoiled. Now I have to go a week without it :O because of my trip. the van is so full the bumper is way too low. i hope we sell a lot of stuff!

Did google it.....won't be drinking that.....love latte and cappucino....do use cinnamon but the butter thing isn't going to happen!!!

Bulletproof sounds disgusting but is really quite good. Great for low carbers. If you make it, make sure to really whip it together.

try BBOTE. energizing without butter, and not as acidic as ordinary coffee. tastes slightly sweet and rich, but caloric content negligible.
