Salmon Cakes II

Salmon cakes made with canned salmon and no bread crumbs.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C), and spray cookie sheet with olive oil spray.
  2. Drain salmon and remove bones.
  3. Chop onion, add to salmon. Add egg and spices to salmon. Mix together.
  4. Form into 4 patties and place on cookie sheet. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until browned.

Very good. I added some finely diced celery, and used lemon juice on the cooked cakes.

I usually cook these on the stovetop and smaller cakes. Delicious.

also if you add 1/4 (Wheat Wheat and add your own seasoning) of the amount of breadcrumbs if you prefer to use them

Easy and delicious. I added a grated yellow squash (small)to the mix, next time I'll add a zuchinni instead.

I just made this! It came out a little dry, but that's probably just my own experience with cooking fish. I also made some aoli sauce to go with this, and together they were perfect!
