I kind of cheat everyday that I work and jump on the scale at the start of the day. We all weigh in on Tuesdays at the office, but I get too antsy so I check it a couple times a week. I sure was surprised. I'd been a little sluggish since the weekend and hadn't really worked out much, just my usual nightly walks until last night. I ran majority of half a mile. I thought I'd stay steady and instead I lost two pounds.
I'm getting better at calorie counting too. I shoot for 1200, but I'm okay with 200 either direction depending on my appetite that day. Today I was 10 calories away from a perfect 1200. The fatsecret app is a major help, couldn't ask for a better weight loss tool. Losing weight is becoming easier by the day. It's crazy what a little commitment will do!

Genuinely surprised by this weeks weigh in. Thought for sure I'd see an increase. Diet and exercise haven't been awful the past few days, but it definitely wasn't up to standard either.

Skipping most of the exercise until my sunburn on my shoulders heals up a little. I went on a walk tonight, and I'll probably still go tomorrow too. But I don't think I can run tonight. My bra straps are digging into the worst part of the burn and it
hurts
every time I move my arms.

Back home from Cedar Point. Had an awesome time, but glad to be home. I had a LOT of junk food. I did my best to get around it but it just wasn't possible most of the time. Only had 20 ounces of water the past 24 hours, and had about 60 ounces of sprite. The last month or so I had completely dropped pop out of my diet, and now I'm back to square one.
Back to normal life tomorrow. I'm so not excited to go to work, but I'm actually looking forward to getting back to drinking just water and eating healthy, and my normal exercise routine. I could definitely tell a major difference between how I feel now and how I felt two days ago. Ever heard the quote 'Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels'? I used to think it was crap. Not anymore. It really does feel amazing to be healthy.
Nervous about the scales on Tuesday. Can't say I'll be too upset if it goes up though. I kind of expect it. Nothing to do but work harder to sweat it all back off.
