Here I am again. I lost 17 pounds, then hit that famous plateau. It just would not drop below 187. I watched it stay for months and decided what the heck, I don't want that skin to my knees anyway. Well, I have decided to try and drop the next 10 pounds and see if I can jump start it again. So I had some M&Ms, a Hershey bar, and small pack of Skittles that I needed to get rid of - So I ate them. No more sweets for me again. I had the Hershey bar since Christmas, M&Ms and Skittles were from Easter. So I know I can resist the chocolate if I want to and that's not the first time I held on to a candy bar for a while. I did start my low carbs today and I will continue for another 2 weeks to see if I can move the numbers downward. My highest weight ever was 214, even at 5'10" that gave me a belly and fat around the face. I can tell a difference and I want to see more of my bones than fat so here I go again.
I really like some of the meals you guys are putting on the site. Maybe those meals will help me get it off.

Oh how I wish I would follow an exercise routine. I say I'm lazy, truth is I just don't want to do it. I agree that if thoughts made you lose weight, I never would have gained a pound since high school. Oh well, I gained a few pounds every few years, but I'm tall I could carry it right? Then how come I look like a blimp in a bathing suit. That was my wake up call. Since then I've lost 13-15 lbs. That was a few months ago. I've been at this weight 187-190 since. Watching carbs and sugars. No progress. Can't figure it out. I plan to exercise but times flies and I forget to start. Just losing 15 has dropped my medical counts but not enough to drop meds. I hope this wasn't too long of a post.

Aw well. I'm not quite that lazy, but I feel it sometimes. I'll just say I'm not motivated. I hope to adjust my caloric intake and see if it will get it off. What I am hoping for is ideas of what to eat/not eat, good low or no carb meals. I found an exercise guy on you tube, but I haven't started yet. I was doing well, then the plateau came. So I guess I will find that you tube guy again and just start. Thanks.

Hi sly, leaves ate almost gone. Few colors are left. Still warm, it's supposed to cool down after the weekend. There's several opportunities for walking. Comet trail, courthouse has a nice park for kids and walking. My subdivision is very hilly, actually we are in the valley hilly either way to walk. My problem is Laziness and right now knee aches. I try to remember squats, arm circles, such things to use the calories. My mind says do it, my body says no.

Hi ladies, I would like to join too. I've lost 15 pounds, but hit that plateau and only dance around the 190 mark now. I need 25 more to go away. I cut carbs and sugars. I need help and ideas to drop the rest. I'm not very active exercise wise but I believe its because I don't have the motivation. I hope ya'll can push me. BTW, 64 y/o southern girl from Atlanta, Ga. Still warm down here.

I need a buddy. I have no idea how or what to do to stay on a weight loss program. I need help and you folks have lost a good amount. I need to get 30-35 off. Please help.
