A pasta dish made with vegetables, shrimp and angel hair pasta, sliced almonds with marinara sauce.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion, parsley, garlic, and carrots, stir well.
- Add red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Continue cooking about 5 minutes until onion is browned, stirring frequently.
- Add marinara sauce and fresh basil. Cook 4 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions.
- Place shrimp in skillet. Pour lemon juice and wine over shrimp. Cook 2 minutes
- Drain pasta. Toss pasta with sauce and all the ingredients in skillet. Top with parmesan cheese and toasted almonds.

I used a half pound shrimp as 1 cup didn't seem to be enough. also I plan to add more carrots and leave off the almonds. But I loved the flavor and will make it again.

Where do you find dream fields pasta?

I would leave off almonds and use a lower carb pasta.
