Hi all!

I'm just saying hi. I joined the site in january thinking I was going to make a lifestyle change that...hasn't happened yet. Instead of working out as planned, my hubby and I have been obsessing about trying to have a baby. It hasn't happened yet, and I realize, the best thing is for me to stay positive and take better care of my body...and wait.

I am not overweight, but over the last 9 years pounds and jiggles have crept on. I want to improve my health, and maybe even get down to my ideal weight. And who knows, maybe God will bless me with the baby bump I sooooo desire! (If that happens, at least I'll have the habit of exercising, journalling and eating well under my belt when the real weight loss challenge begins!)

Please feel free to comment on my posts, ask questions, or interact with me in any way!

Sloooow progress.
a lb per week is a safe and healthy rate of weight loss, even though it's slower than you would like. my only suggestion would be to vary your workouts a bit. ie) try to do different exercises on different days of the week...prevents your body from getting too used to it, and may have to work harder. 12 days is a short time, so don't worry...be consistent and it will come.
