The past week has been very difficult for me and I have not been recording all I eat. I have continued to go to the gym and managed 3 times last week. This week I return with renewed vigour and hope to lose 2 pounds this week.
I am going on holiday to New York in August and I would like to lose another 7 pounds before I go.

I have had the worse weekend...I have not cooked a meal for the last three days, which means I can't accurately record any of my calorie intake. I have tried to be more active to compensate, but I am sure I have put on weight this week. I plan to do things differently next week because I haven't lost any of my focus in losing weight, I just need to learn from my mistakes and try harder next week.
I have actually had a good weekend in terms of enjoyment, I've done lots of useful things, the best being making a start on my garden. I am very satisfied with the progress so far and it is encouraging me to keep going. Plus it is good exercise!
I will do better next week. I will focus 100% on my objective of losing weight. I will not allow myself to be distracted and will say a firm "No thank you" when tempted!

I'm trying not to be disappointed that I haven't lost any weight this week. I know that I did not follow my diet to the letter and there were a few meals out and wine!!
I decided to take my measurements and I have lost about a inch all over!!! Not so bad.

So I joined the gym and got a fitness programme done today. I need to follow it for six weeks to see any progress. the worrying thing is that the fitness instructor says I may not notice any weight loss during the first six weeks! :-( Anyway we'll see how it goes.
Had an OK week, but not feeling as good as last week. Had a couple of day where I may have gone over my calorie intake, but I tried to keep up the exercise. Went to the gym today, and trying to keep active generally rather than sit on the sofa vegging!

Brilliant! 3 pound off this week. Feeling really pleased with myself. I have decided to set myself some small goals to achieve. I have already joined a challenge to lose 10lbs in June, so that will be my first goal - 175 by 30 June!!
