I am 51 years old and an IT Professional for an automotive manufacturer. I have degenerative arthritis, and shredded cartalidge in my hip and some days can barely walk. I am in Physical therapy and cannot wait for a new hip. However we are in the early stages of a major email migration and the hip will have to wait. I am hoping to lose at least 15 lbs and would like to lose a good 20 lbs. I am sure this will help the hip. I am now 10 lbs down and feeling really good (all my clothes and jeans are nice and loose!)

We are pontoon boaters in the summer and I would love to look fabulous in a swimsuit this summer for my 10th anniversary.

Wii Active users!
I work out daily with the wii Active and like you, I love it. I am horrible at tennis but added a tennis and volleyball workout that I do on "rest" days. LOVE the resistance bands, and yes they are a little awkward sometimes. I am starting my my 3rd week of the 30 day challenge.

I cannot do certain exercises due to physical limitation of needing a total hip... I just figured out how to remove the jumping exercises from my workouts. Do you know if the Active will add an exercise in its place?

The fit board interaction does take some practice...

Atkins shakes
I do not and have been having them for breakfast daily with a cup of coffee. They do not "bind" me up... I also get a fruit craving (strawberry) or a chocolate craving satisified with a shake.

The Daybreak bars that state All Phases are good. Do not use the ones that are not for all phases. Quick stall there.

Mom of 3 looking to lose 25 pounds
I am not a mom, unfortunately, but am 52 next month, started at 174 before I found fatsecret. My goal was to be 150 by my 50th... Unfortunately I tore my calf muscle and spent 6 months in a leg cast and now, am waiting for a new hip (one more year if I can make it). I would love to lose 40 lbs, however my first goal is to break 150.

Carbs VS Net Carbs
Also those net carbs in induction phase, about 15g of net carbs are supposed to be in your veggies. Good Carbs.

The Atkins for Life cookbook published in 2004 by Veronica Atkins has fabulous recipes and are maked in each recipe which phase its recommended for with great pictures.
