Mom of 3 looking to lose 25 pounds

Hi there! I am returning to FS after an almost two year plateau. This is the year I want to really make an effort to get all of that stubborn baby weight off! Typically I bump between 153 and 157 -- I really want to get back to 135, but I need help! For some reason as soon as I hit 153 I also hit some sort of mental wall and totally stop making any efforts. I'd love a buddy to help get me through that wall for once and all! I work on the computer all day, so I can check in whenever someone needs a pick-me up Very Happy

I have been at a plateau too, but slowly trying to bust through. Im feeling in a little rut though. Im at 159 now. Goal is set at 150. But would love to get even lower. Any help we can be to each other....Im here Smile

Keep posting. Turn your sharing on so we can help and post your food/exercise.

If you've been away from researching exercise, you may want to ask questions/discuss what will be best. Read posts and keep posting mostly.

Hello there! I too am a mom of 2 boys, 2 years and 6 months, and I would love to help you out! I have lost all of my baby weight and the extra weight I gained after high school too. I know a lot of tips and am sure I can help you. I'm currently helping another friend right now with her baby weight, and she's down 12 lbs in a couple months already. Feel free to look at my food log (I log 99% of what I eat) and to message me if you would like. I also text a lot so if you do as well, my phone will be available for any help Smile

Hi, I started atkins yesterday. I have a 5 month old daughter and a 3 year old son. I am needing to loose 19lb and regain my confidence! Its so much harder loosing weight after having kids but i no i can do it! Would love to buddy up and achieve these goals together!!

I too am a mother of 3 kids, but mine are 15, 13, and 11....I still have the baby weight and up until now have not really tried to push myself to lose it...I just always complained about being overweight. I have a goal to lose 50 lbs, I am giving myself 4 months to get as close to that goal as possible and would love to buddy up with some other moms....

I would love to be your buddy. I'm a mother of 4 and a yr ago I almost reached the 200lb mark (which is enormous for me). I'm down to 180 now but I want to be back at 130-140lbs. My kids are very active and in sports which I think will help...that and their all young (18mos, 6, 7, and 12). I will be 30yrs old this year so I want to reach that mark as healthy as possible

Good luck and I hope we can keep each other motivated.

I am not a mom, unfortunately, but am 52 next month, started at 174 before I found fatsecret. My goal was to be 150 by my 50th... Unfortunately I tore my calf muscle and spent 6 months in a leg cast and now, am waiting for a new hip (one more year if I can make it). I would love to lose 40 lbs, however my first goal is to break 150.

Hi there, I am close to the same weight as you and am looking to lose at least 30 lbs. I have decided to put small goals of 10lbs at a time to see if that motivated me a little more than 30. I would love to be at least 20lbs lighter by June. It would be fun to do this together. Smile
