I have decided I want to do the Warrior Dash when it comes to NY in August. Which means I have to train myself to run a 5K by then. I sent out an off topic email at work today and I got 10 people to agree to do it with me! I'm now in the process of seeing if I can get my company to sponsor us and pay for registration and transportation and perhaps a cool team T shirt.
I'm so excited! And it takes a lot for me to be excited about running but this is really motivating. I even convinced my boyfriend to do this with me! So I will continue my morning gym routine and in the evenings after work he and I will begin training at the park near our house. Not only will this be a really cool thing to say I did, but it should definitely kick up my fat/weight loss. Maybe I can bust through this plateau!
