Today I forced myself to get up early, 630am and go to the cardio kick boxing class at 7. I usually go to the gym at 815 so this was really pushing it, but the only morning classes offered before I have to be at work are all at 7. Just wanted to see if I could do it. I figured since it was at 7am everyone would be pretty chill, I mean I didnt even bother to wipe the crust out of my eyes. I was wrong. The instructor was getting in! The class totally kicked my ass, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. its a nice alternative to running for cardio. Running everyday can get tedious. I'll definitely be taking this class again. I figure I can force myself to get up extra early 2-3 times a week and continue doing my own thing the other days.

I reached another milestone today. Today marks the 1st day I was strong enough to go to the gym 5 days in a row. And it wasn't for lack of pushing myself in my work outs. This was maybe my most intense week so far. Now I get my 2 days off. I think they're well deserved.

So I have been keeping my measurements since I got serious about working out (3.17) So I guess I can keep those here.

Arms 11.5 --> 11in
Belly 34 --> 31.5 in
waist 31 --> 29 in
Hips 40 --> 37 in
things 23.5 --> 23.5 in

ugh, looking at those numbers bums me out, I let myself go. But the progress is encouraging, thats 8 inches total. I guess thats a lot. If I had also been measuring my bust that number would be a lot higher, lol. I'm so upset that my thighs wont budge. Thats among the parts of me that bothers me the most.

on another note, I had a really great day at the gym this morning. I tried out HIT on the treadmill and it made things interesting. I felt very proud that I was able to get through it. After that I did a quick circuit, 5 rounds of kettlebell swings, burpees (I hate those so much), squat presses, and an ab twist with the kettlebell. I was jello afterwards. From there I did planks and then some machine that exercises the hips and thighs.
