ok so I totally gained weight on my weeks during and since vacation. 7.6 to be exact. But I might also add that my body fat% is now 24.1% which is almost 10% less than it was before I went on vacation and my BMI is 25...Which is just nearly the same, but, maybe I have just gained muscle? My body still seems pretty fatty, but all my clothes still fit fine. I should measure for inches.
EDIT: Just weighed myself again, Body fat% is 34.7%. Thats more like it. This morning I was like 24%? My thighs beg to differ!
Anyway, still about 2% less than pre-vacation. That scale is so wonky! Maybe I was dehydrated or something. Who knows. Dont buy an Omron scale people. It doesnt know what its talking about...

Its funny, but while I was on my vacation I missed this community. Youre all so inspiring to me. Its been SO hard to get back into the swing of things but having some accountability is invaluable! And with that in mind I have been steaming full force ahead.
I started by picking up w/ my C25K training where I left off. I finished week 2 training this morning. Yesterday I took my 1st yoga class in weeks and it was hard. Thats usually pretty easy for me, it had even become like an "off day" for me because I liked how it made me feel so much, but I am so incredibly sore from the combination. Its like my head is in the game but my body is like, "eeeengh, cant we just go back to sitting by a pool and drinking too much?" No, Body! We CANT!
A co worker of mine talked me into going for a run with our "HUGE Legs" running "team" tomorrow. She broke me down, so I guess I'm going if it doesnt pour. I also rejoined our kickball team. If nothing else the social aspect of it has been totally worth it. I'm also looking to buy a new bike. Summer is here and its time to start riding! I've been looking at this site where you can customize a single speed or fixed gear. I was HUGE into riding when I was in college and I'd like to get back into it. I designed

as one option, but I just cant decide on a color combination, (AAAAARGH!) and I am going to budget it in over the next few months.

Well, I got back from my vacation to the dominican republic a few days ago. It was incredible. Everything I could have asked for. It was hard to stay true to my diet there. It was an all inclusive so most of the meals were buffet style and meat based, and those that weren't were VERY carb-y, fried, and fatty. Not to mention I was drunk out of my mind every day, lol. I dont even want to know how many alcohol calories I consumed those 2 weeks. I'm not even going to weigh myself for another week so I can get back into my regular eating and exercising habits. I know the number I see will only serve to disappoint and discourage me.
I weighed myself the morning we left and I was somehow, miraculously 147lbs...That was my college weight, my lightest adult weight. Must have been a fluke. Oh well, i can get back there. I have already been back on my 5k training routine, and boy has it been hard this week! I've also been participating in my companies kickball team again just to get that little bit of extra exercise in.
I had a great time in the DR but it feels good to be home. There is no place like NY =)
