I was in a "yes, I know these calories are adding up, but I'm eating it anyway mood" yesterday. I finished out the day about 300 calories over. I didn't really eat a lot...just things that had a few more calories. Up a lb. this morning. I know that's not really fat gain & will go back down. A cup of hot apple cider with a shot of fireball, half a sausage more, cheesecake (small slice but still not low cal), homemade chocolate, half a glass of wine...it all adds up.
I'm not sure if I was eating my feelings or just in the mood to eat without restrictions.
I woke up feeling "weepy"....you know when you hear a song it makes you cry....or read a story on FB. I got busy around the house....unloading the dryer & folding the laundry, rearranging the house plants to make room for the Christmas tree in front of the dining room window, cleaning the floors....
I finally made another attempt to call my daughter....we ended up having a long talk. Everything may not be resolved but the air is cleared. It's funny how when we got past the first awkward moments she started chattering away....like normal. I feel so much better. I hated being at odds. We are very close & I'm not used to that.
Hubby removed the toilet from our guest house & bought the new one today. I helped him unload it off our truck & get it moved thru the garage...across the deck...and out to the guest house. He'll work on installing it tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I'll start getting the Christmas decor down from the attic & begin decorating. The trees have to come up from the basement storage area. Friday is supposed to be a warm 70 degrees so I may work on doing outdoor decorations then.
