Debbie Cousins's Journal, 10 March 2021

No weight loss this morning. 40.3 pounds remaining to reach my goal of 199 by June 27th. I think I'm going to have to change something to accelerate my losses. Starting to consider fasting for a few days just to get things moving more quickly and to get "caught up" on the 4.4 pounds I am behind. I'm due to schedule a colonoscopy anyway, so that would be a good time to get cleaned out and then just continue with water. Haven't made any solid decisions though. MIGHT have to go ahead and bite the bullet and start the "e-word!"
239.3 lb Lost so far: 19.7 lb.    Still to go: 89.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I noticed you were doing pretty good a while back when you kept carbs low. Then you drastically increased carbs suddenly. I was told by a weight loss doctor that it was realky important to keep carbs down and gradually increase if I no longer wanted to lose weigtt. I know I am having trouble limiting the carbs too and my weight history of recent increases shows theresults for me.

I am having the same problem. Yesterday I had 2 crepes made with almond flour with a few blueberries, then meatballs in gravy on top of riced cauliflower with a salad with a little blue cheese dressing. It's not fair I'm up .9 lb. there was only an eighth of a cup of bread crumbs in the meatballs, plus the flour in the gravy. No other fruit, or starch. It's insidious. The sugar in your oranges contributes to blood sugar rises. Whenever we snack between meals it raises our insulin which stops all loss of fat from our cells. I only eat two meals a day and no snacks, but the weight doesn't want to come off. Yes, we will have to get more drastic, temporarily.

so you are having problem dropping because of to much sugar? I'm reading your post as well as snowwhite as you two share a common goal. have you guys been following a plan that relates directly to the issue( that will get you going down in the weight?) Sounds like it is a struggle finding what works and sticking with it. But I believe there is something that will work for you two. You already know what's not seem to be working. Keep trying until you find it, then keep at it. For me I usually turn around when things stop going the way I want them. But nope not this time. So get started on the day at hand. do the best that you can with what you got. I'm sorry I can't be of much help addressing the insulin. But I just want to encourage you to keep going.
