Hi, I’m Debbie Cousins. [I'm gonna put my "P.S." FIRST as a disclaimer: I do NOT look like the picture! It was taken only 4 months ago, but it was at Sephora after a 1-hour makeover!] I’m 64-1/2 years old (my birthday is 6/20, in case anyone wants to send a gift!). Until I was 22 years old, I could eat as much as I wanted of ANYTHING I wanted to eat, and still maintained a slim and attractive figure. Even when I was thin, though, I always thought I was too fat, and compared myself to everyone around me. I guess if you tell yourself something long enough, it becomes true. My all-time high weight was 302 pounds (at which time, in 2006, I had gastric bypass surgery). I lost over 100 pounds and was 185 for a MINUTE, before settling into a comfortable range between 195-205 for about 8 years. Then, I began to steadily go back up again – to a post-surgery high of 248. Last year, I lost about 35 pounds using a paleo/keto blend (I've since switched to all Keto!) By the end of the Thanksgiving/Christmas gluttony, I started 2018 at 220, and had a good year of maintenance and weight stabilization. Just started 2019 at 194, and met my first goal of 175 on April 4th, 2019! I'd like to invite anyone who reads this to join us in our "Daily Accountability" Challenges (I'm the Administrator of the Challenges) Each week, we start a brand spankin' new one, and you report DAILY on such things as Fiber, Fat %, Net Carbs, Water intake, and most importantly "Bite-It-Write-It" (which is just recording EVERYTHING you eat and drink in your Food Journal). Just search "Daily Accountability 2019" under Challenges, and you'll find the next one and when it begins. Hope to see you all there or in one of my Swimsuit Slimdown challenges - the next one will be called "Swimsuit Slimdown #2" and will start on 5/24. Registrations will be open starting by May 12th - set a reminder in your phone, so you can hop on board for that 8-week challenge.

Accepting Request to Follow
Hmmm. I have mine set up to automatically accept follow requests. Perhaps if you go into Settings and change your preference to automatically approve follow requests it will allow those you have to go through, and then you can change it back -- or leave it open unless you are getting too many requests.

Hello :-)
@Mikie, I can't seem to find how to post on your wall, so I will address you here. CONGRATULATIONS on making the decision to join the "Daily Accountability 2019-#1" Challenge!!! So far, it's just the two of us, but I'm praying there will be lots more people who find it and feel led to participate. I did several of these last year, and had 20+ people in most of the groups. Most of us can do "the right thing" for a week. Almost ALL of us can do it for one DAY! That's the beauty of the DAILY Mini-Goals! I wish you much success, and will be encouraging you along your journey!

Happy Easter Everyone!
I’m so sorry that I JUST saw your comment to my 1/15 Journal Entry about starting the Christian Community Group! Please accept my apology. Since you’re not sharing your Journal entries or allowing Followers, I couldn’t respond directly to you, but I think I found a go-around by commenting on a post you made on Easter, 2016. Just in case that doesn’t work, I’m hoping you’ll see this response here! Whatcha waiting for? Just go to your FatSecret Home page, click on FIND GROUPS, and enter “Christian Community” in the Group Search Keyword box. We'd be most honored to have you join us!
