Day 5 of a planned 5 days of mostly ‘no solid food’ fasting

Looking at the past Fridays it appears I have ‘weight maintenance’ figured out:

📈 Friday 01/10/2020 – 178 lbs
📉 Friday 01/17/2020 – 175 lbs
📈 Friday 01/24/2020 – 177 lbs
📈 Friday 01/31/2020 – 177 lbs
📉 Friday 02/07/2020 – 175 lbs

Now I just need to get back to ‘weight loss’ 😜

I will pick a week where I do mostly ‘no solid food’ fasting for 7 days not just 5. That wont be next week, that is a 4 day weekend…

175.0 lb Lost so far: 32.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

@liv001, @designwebs - Thanks! I am 99% sure that if I avoid the 'weekend binge eating' I will get some real 'net losses'. However, it was knowing I can 'let loose' on the weekends that gives me the 'mental fortitude' to stick it out during the week. Almost two years ago when I lost the initial weight I had 'not being obese all my adult life' to motive me. Today, not so much...

@adef I’m in the same boat! I’ve definitely got maintenance figured out, but getting rid of these last 12 pounds is seriously way more difficult than the first 80!!! 😖 After seeing @liv’s average daily calorie intake (we’re the same height and similar age) I’ve realized that I have to get more daily activity if I want to start dropping again. What was working for me before isn’t quite enough now. Good luck to you!

@adef 3# of fat lost in 4 weeks is fat loss, not maintenance. It's just slow and steady vs. the rapid fat loss clinic you put on previously. Is the only difference between your down weeks and the rest your weekend refeed?

@jimmiepop - Thanks man! It is the expected 'gain' when I 'carb out' this weekend where I give it all back that makes me call it 'maintenance'. I simply must refrain from that 'nonsense' for at least two weeks at a time. Problem is finding two weeks that work...
