Can't remember what exactly the scale said and I'm not going back upstairs. I think it was less than this but definitely 201 point something. I should care more- but I don't. My vacation is over, have to go back to work today and I am DREADING it. 20 years at the same place and 20 more before I can retire. I just want to be a stay at home mom- but I don't think that's the name for it when you have no kids at home because they're in school all day. I guess I just don't want to work ever again would be a more accurate way to put it. I tried to talk the family into no cable, internet, cell phones and just shower at planet fitness so we can make ends meet, but no one will go for it. SO I guess I better go. I should be thankful to have a job. My company loves me and this very laptop on which I type and the car I drive and my cell phone are all company owned. Many perks. Beyond blessed. Need to stop bitching and appreciate more what I DO have. In my next life I'm marrying for money instead of looks. (JK Diablo. ❀ ya!)

Hah! Is this your plan to start one of those knockdown, drag-out fights you were talking about? 🀣

Ditch the stresses. Simplify. Appreciate what you've got. Enjoy rest and sleep to the fullest. Love at all cost. Look for the good in everything and see God's hand at work. Always take time to help those in need. And most importantly, insult more cat owners... it sparks joy 😊

Being happy is a decision that only you can make for yourself. You seem to have a good job, a stay home mom looks good but it leaves you feeling unappreciated very often. Kids take us for granted, Hubby dear also takes you for granted and you soon get fed up of it. working keeps your mind and body up and about and functionally fit.

If a person is just looking for money. That is not the most difficult thing. Find a need and fill it. You do not need a college degree to do that. There is millions and millions of dollars out there to go for. Working for wages is just survival, you cannot make a dream come through on that. The idea is that you keep your present job but start looking for something that people want. Start slow, and increase the productivity in I am not here to sell anything but to encourage and benefit from other fellow members of this website.

I loved working. I enjoyed every single day of the 44 years that I did work. The key is to have a job that you can love like that. I was so lucky.

I absolutely LOVE your sense of humor, wittiness and realness!!!!

Kenna...I can tell that about you from your posts. I bet you were /are a damn good nurse. Thank you Swedish... People love it or hate it. Glad you love it. πŸ˜‰ and to everyone else, thanks for the comments and advice. I was just complaining. I like to do that sometimes with no real interest in changing things- you know those types of people that we all hate.

Excellent little rant. Going back to work after a good vacation is hard, but the next 20 years will fly by, seriously. Enjoy every minute with your handsome husband and family ❀️!

I took 6 months to stay with my kid. I hate working but I hated staying home even more lol

Lmao, velvetee. The kids would not be home. It would just be me all day cleaning and organizing and planning dinners and going to the gym and shopping. I have it all planned out. πŸ€£πŸ™

Ahhhhh, the good life!

Planning dinners... for the housekeeper to cook while you're at the gym?
13 Aug 19 by member: chrisw77
Chris, that's even better.
13 Aug 19 by member: Erquiaga
Well, June Cleaver herself said she can't cook. Maybe all this sitting around, she can borrow my PBS Julia Child dvds and learn a thing or two πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
