39F, keto/low carb, IF 16:8 and working out 3xweek (at least). Full-time mom (a special needs kid) and worker (changing like socks) so everything is possible. The best plan: avoid industrial food, watch your calories and lift. Everything is in your head.

I like this app even if I don't log everything. I'm a former ballet dancer, previously 105 lbs and went up to 150 during my pregnancy. It took me almost 2 years to lose 30lbs. I advocate for slow but steady changes and thus solid results. I'm around 120 now and it's my perfect shape (really small frame, feels heavy over 120), as a consistent lifter for the past 6 or 7 years. My workouts are simple (full body) and usually don't go over 1.5h (with stretching), I just don't have time nor strength to do so. I like healthy food and care about where it comes from, thanks mom for your excellent nutrition education along with your amazing cooking skills (plus good genes). It feels great to look good at almost 40 so I continue. Oh and my major weakness: stinky cheese and good wine. Can't be perfect, right? :)

PS decided to make this a little bit more human. My life is not easy, and you don't need to know all the details but I'm engaged to an amazing US guy (yep I live in France). We are trying to make it happen. I'm also a highly-functioning autist or what my therapist calls "a gifted person". I tend to compensate my sorrow with food even if I am super aware of nutrition rules as a former dancer. And I've got an unhealthy interest in learning, so here I am with 2 MA plus an MBA, and I am a certified profiler in Jungian theory.

Je suis une adepte du "intermittent fasting" depuis plus de 2 ans et cela me réussit très bien. Je ne mange que le midi et le soir et ne grignote absolument rien entre ces repas. Sans le savoir, j'ai toujours été adepte de l'alimentation plus au moins HFLC/lowcarb. Allez les FS!

It depends on your metabolism. I've been doing low carb for years but that's mainly because my body does not tolerate them well. I've got a highly allergic genetic background. But if you love, why not? Just limit industrial food, watch your calories and workout Smile
