Well, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly !!!,Went on Vacation,did I eat Keto ??? No, Went with family to stinky Sarasota,red tide, lots of dead fish, dolphins, turtles, ate donuts, and some hamburger buns, pizza, pie and ice cream and it shows, with the weight gain, back to reality, now need to work on getting the weight off..I did do IF, but that did not help much with the foods. Will now log again and keep it going...Did get good news, went off more meds, now I'm down seven medications, and my life goes on and I'm Do N OK
209.0 lb Lost so far: 218.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

raa rooo , so sad about the yuck tides. just get back on the wagon, I bet you flush most of that out quickly, maybe you'll be stuck with a donut on you tummy, but that too shall pass.

I will keep an eye on your progress! I've put on between 15-16 pounds in the past few months (4 trips to the coast eating whatever I wanted!) and just restarted everything, including my starting weight and goal weight. Maybe it will get me motivated. Congratulations on going off so many medications!

Well at least you have the mindset to get back on your food program! That’s the important part. Sorry about the red tide. The beaches there are normally so beautiful.

During vacation, you must set goals to maintain fitness goals. It does not mean you can not enjoy food, it just means that you have to make the best choices possible. You can not expect to maintain your goals when you do not set/follow them daily. I have had the same experience in the past. Now, I set goals daily and it does not matter if I am on vacation or not. It is a healthy lifestyle that we need to aim for. Hope this helps. My comments come from a good place. Hard work should be rewarded. Be well and Stay Healthy!

Aww such a shame about the red tide. The beaches in Sarasota are beautiful! Usually. I gained almost 9 pounds going off keto on vacation and then dropped it quickly. Your body knows what to do! Just go back to plan and you’ll be doing ok 😀
