Thank you! Our house is on a corner so I am glad it looks better. If it was the end of a cul-de-sac...I may just forget it. ;) 

Our's is too, but it doesn't look as nice as yours. The closest structure to the road is an old beat up 100+ year old workshop that we use for storage. I love it, but have big plan for a face lift. Hoping it doesn't turn into a lipstick-on-a-pig project. 😖 

Becca - lipstick on a pig... I got the porch done but the house is always a work in progress. The whole thing needs to be painted. I'll put that on my five year plan.

DP, we are going to start painting as soon as this smoke calms down. We were strategizing how to get the job done without having to set up scaffolding to reach the 13 foot peak of our little house! 😉😄 I told Joe we need a new "I don't want to break any bones" ladder. 🤕 

get a little giant ladder. worth every single penny. don't get a cheap knock off, they are not the same.  

Actually, I like the pop of red, it goes well with the bricks. Where do the French doors lead to?

Beautiful and inviting. I love the architecture. Totally associate those brick bungalows with IL. Y'all have been inspiring me. Decided against painting my porch (I am happy with it after all), but our porch needs some TLC!

Shirfleur - that's a door with a window on each side that leads to my sun porch. Funny you said that because INSIDE my house- off the dining room-are French doors that lead to the sun porch. 🙃 I love it but... It's only usable from like late April to early October. Way too cold. It's windows all around and they desperately need to be fitted and insulated better. I do love it though.

I really like red. I have red chairs on my porch. And when I had the house painted last year I have red ish trim. Maybe I'll take a "before" picture of my porch. It needs to be stained again.  

My Uncle's house had a sun porch like that, but they rarely used it because it was too hot (pre-airconditioning). As children, we thought it was the most wonderful room. I still love sunrooms, will visit during the time we can sit in yours.
