I made my famous macaroni & cheese today! It's one of my favorite comfort foods. Nowadays I only make it occasionally as a treat.

Little-Mermee- give a try to half cauliflower and half pasta. It has now becomes my preferred way to eat Mac ‘n cheese. It’s not always about denying yourself some of the things you love but making fine adjustments that still maintain the essence of the original. And, you never know that it won’t become a favorite.

Love mac and cheese, great photo. Haven't had the classic (regular macaroni, loads of cheese and butter) but had a bit with lentil penne recently. Kenna might be onto something. Cheesy baked cauliflower is delicious and mixing pasta and cauliflower might be a way to make the dish lower-cal, richer in fiber while still being yummy. I might try that.

Remember, deprivation does not work long term. Making minor adjustments to recipes that still work for you is how to do this much less painfully for life.
